there is a link somewhere on the forum in troubleshooting and there is a link to download the software right there download it on xp and install it and run it. had the same problem i have windows 7. they do not have the software ready for windows 7 and they are currently working on it. use windows xp or get a virtural machine with windows xp on your windows 7. thats what i did and it works great and no problems. somewhere i think on trouble shooting in the threads somewhere or its in war chips issues or somthing you will find the link to download it. or just email them or call them. im sure they will email it to you

ok stock m20 with 36lb injectors with colder spark plugs and front mount innercooler running a k04 turbo off a mazda speed. i want to run 5 lbs of boost and then 8lbs of boost, i want a tune for each and was wondering if somebody has input on some parameter number at where i could get a little bit of a base tune and not start from scratch can anybody help me out??? email me at e30productions@hotmail.com or on this thread. anymore questions on my mod let me know just need to get a base tune going and then ajust things from there on the road igniton timint afr etc... i just wanna get a little close so i can be around what i need to be

yes this is true you can turn off the o2 sensor and eliminate your narrow band and then put your wide band o2 in its place however if you do this and you want a different tune on your car and you want the computer to caluclate from the o2 sensor it cannot because you have no o2 sensor for it to read i would just do two slots but you never know the choice is up to you

ok i have the same problem what you need to do. you plug in your chip into the computer then select read all. then after you have read all, change on the tune what you wanna change then go to file then save, then write it to the chip. after that you need to go to file and then read all again and see where there locations are. then what i do is double click on the tune name and type in the tune name again on all four tunes then after you do that you go to file then write. then after it is done writing you go to file read all again and they should be in the locations you want them in

that helped alot thank you im just trying to advance my ignition timing for a na tune and the rule of thumb is a more advanced motor the better but do not go too much or it will cause pinging in the motor. i have a bosh 153 ecu in my 1987 bmw 325is e30 and my max ignition timing number around 4040 rpm's is 69 and if that is real world numbers that is adavced to 69 degrees of timing. just seems a little much but i have not had a problem yet. all i am seeing so far is more horsepower and torque when i am on wot ignition timing. so if that is correct on igniton timing like you said if its 23 on the software that is 23 degrees or 23.25 or varies a little??? is that correct??? what i am trying to say is if my number is 45 that is 45 degrees of igniton timing???

yea i would really like to know. they say 10 points on the fuel scale on the tuning software is equal to 1 air fuel ratio so idk if its the same on the ignition timing but i would love to know it would save me test runs on the street with my car

I was curious if anybody knew how many numbers on the tuning software are equivalent to 1 degree of timing on the warchip tuning software . what im trying to say is how many numbers do you need to move up that is equivalent to 1 degree of ignition timing??

no problem man they havent sent them to me yet its been two days but hopefully they send them to me ill probably call them next week if they dont have them done but quick question for you? i am advancing my timing so i can get more power but i dont wanna advance it too much that i have pinging but do i need to ajust my afr with advancing my timing or should my afr stay the same??? what im trying so say is will the motor go lean if i advance too much???

this is exzactly what you need to do. i was having the same problem. your going to download vm ware which is a virtural machine. you need to get a copy of windows xp on a disc and have the product key or find a product key that will work from the internet. then once you have windows xp running on the vm ware, go and download the newest update from miller warchip forum thats out i believe it is 2.2.3 i think. and then plug in your warchip and on the virtual machine when you plug in your usb from your warchip there is an icon on vm ware on the bottom and you need to switch over the usb to the vm ware so windows xp on the vm ware sees the warchip on that program. then it will be good to go and you will be able to do everything you want. but note when you download tunes from the internet you have to download them off the vm ware off windows xp cause there is no way to drag them over to the vm ware so keep that in mind. sorry this is alot of info but just trying to help you out. if you more theral instructions just msg me

yea i called them about a few questions i had and they fixed me up. he is working on being able to set those values lower for me and making me a custom tune for it so idk if you have the same ecu as me but if you want it when they get done do you want me to post it here so you can have it???

hmmm odd like i said it has to be somthing in the tuning that is giving the torque drop i am having alot of problems myself right now i cant even get my car to start!!! somthing with the software because it was running ok last night and now it wont even start. and they said you cant run miller warchip software on windows 7 i got it to work somehow so idk whats going on i gotta fix it tho and i cannot get a hold of them
