Title: which map? hp, torque,pt or accel enrichment
Post by: bry195 on November 09, 2013, 07:52:14 PM
if Im using the oem switchpoint for vanos and I need to pull fuel out at say 4000 rpm, where do i take fuel out?if 6500 rpm where do I take it out?

what about when I let off the the gas at either of these rpms?

You need to work both maps individually one at a time. Force it to keep VANOS off, get the fuel where you want it, everywhere, then do the same for VANOS on. What is happening at those RPMs?

you can see it goes rich at about 10.3 when im on my way to 6k at 8psi. then when I left off the gas lightly it goes way lean. I have been tuning with vanos on so I will turn it off. I have the afr at about 12 now and im going for 12.5 on the way up. it has a few quick blips rich but im working those out. but I havent been able to make any difference on the decel at lightly letting off the pedal.
it does it at cruise as well. let of the gas a little (5 degrees) and it goe 18:1.
cranking fule I have gone from 50 to 137 and I have to crank for 15 seconds with the throttle wide open. sputter sputter start. smells like fuel then runs perfect. it dude this on the previous m3 tune as well. but not in the donor car (for engine). same if cold or warm. ambient in florida stays pretty much the same.
