Title: hello
Post by: philm3 on February 03, 2014, 07:42:38 AM
Hi All, Bought my MAF and War chip mid last year and am just getting round to the install stage so thought id jump on board,
My choice of ride is a Diamond Black 1988 E30 M3, It has been going through a full engine resto for the last 18 months (its almost impossible to find parts for these in Australia).. it has been built to the following specs..
Fully rebuilt Lightened/Balanced bottom end with 2.3 competition spec oversized pistons (11:1 compression ratio)
VAC motorsports Stage 3 Cylinder head with oversized valves.
Schrick 284/276 cams with adjustable cam gears
48mm throttle bodies
Carbon DTM intake
Miller MAF and WAR chip..(the MAF has been installed inside the snorkel).
Will post up some pics soon once I suss things out ..
no doubt i'll be on here picking everyone's knowledge on the WAR chip,as far as I  know there are no tuners in Perth that have had any experience with this product so i will be flying blind so to speak.
cheers, phil.
