Post by: boosteddirty on March 11, 2014, 09:04:49 AM
So I transferred all the Miller files to another computer using a flash drive. But there is a problem, the screen is blank.

I'm having the same problem. The window is just blank. Even if I open a .mcp file. I've tried un-installing and re-installing.

HELP!

I found this in the FAQ. Following these instructions i fixed it:

I can’t find my tunes (or .ecu file) after running through the wizard.

Sometimes, the WAR Chip wizard trips up do to unique circumstances related to a specific laptop or desktop. If you open the WAR Chip program the very first time and have a blank interface, you will need to add your .ECU file manually as well as open the 4 tunes and write them. After the wizard has run, you will find those files located in this directory: C:/documentsandsettings/ “username” /wc

That's exactly what I did. But my laptop is acting funny, it doesn't write at all. Thanks alot for the instructions, I could use that in the future.
Title: looking for ECU
Post by: austinc on November 15, 2014, 07:26:04 PM
Im having the same issue with the blank interface. I had the program starting to write the files then all of a sudden it stated at the bottom in the status bar "looking for Chip".

I have tried unplugging the chip to the USB, plugging it back in with no luck. I have also tried deleting the Wizard software and re-downloading it and reopening it, but its not working.

Page 24 of the manual Talks about fixing this issue. The main problem is that the software is not recognizing my ecu as a 413 anymore. (this is talked about in the FAQ).  Before I read the FAQ I figured i would go to "tools" The tab under "add ECU and I deleted the 413 ecu. I figured i could reset the system.

According to the instructions i would have fixed the problem if i just clicked the 413 ecu.

Now im having problems  getting the 413 ecu tab to be there. I have tried to reset everything, but its not working out.
