Good tune. I had to modify it alittle bit. The unnecessary stuff i got went back to what it was suppose to be. Other than that, its good.👌👌

Id say youre pretty close already maxing it out. Unless you want to dump serious money to sqeeze out that last bit of power. Which at that point you might as well boost it. Youll make a lot more power than n/a. M50's/s50's have the bigger connecting rods. So you are in luck. I have had a few people tell me that the m50 can hold 15psi safely with a thicker headgasket. And push up to 25psi but being really risky😂😂 bimmerforums is your friend when it comes to this stuff. Good luck the hrsprs hunt. Got to get them buff horses🤙🤙

how can I squeeze the max out of my 2.8 stroked M50 engine?
what tune is the best to use? keeping in mind that i'm not planning on dyno tuning it just yet.
my engine is basically an M50 engine with 2.8 crank and rods, and 2.5 pistons from my old vanos engine, which are 1mm higher than the 2.8 pistons providing higher compression.
other mods are ALPINA headers, and lightened flywheel

which tune from the tunes published should i use? do you have a more suitable tune for me than the ones published?

your feedback on how to squeeze out the most HP & TQ out of this engine is most appreciated.

I accidently unplugged the USB cable during a MAP download on a 413 red label, now I get only "looking for chip" and the engine doesn't run (cable disconnected). I have reinstalled the WAR software. I could use some guidance. My engine is an S.C. S50 using the turbo kit.

try contacting brody, he's very helpful and he got the answers to your base map matter.
base maps with specific injectors and some other information can only be supplied by him.

Here is an update today
I connected the ecu to my laptop and it seems flickering usb found/not found then i was able to read it and it has no files other than the mpchip or something like that I tried to write files on it again with no luck it says 100% I look into the chip and there is only mpchip file !!!
What is the problem?

hey there, not sure if you solved the problem or not, but apparently there are no tunes on the WAR chip!
the file you're talking about has the name mpcchip, and for the tunes you should have at least one more file. but since you have no other files there you basically have no tunes at all.

contact brody in order to supply you with the proper turbo tune, if you have it then let me know in order to proceed with the next step on how to get your chip working again
