will 079ecu tunes work on the 055 ecu?

I have a  m635 with 055 ecu just noticed that in the tune cache there seems to be a lot more tunes available for the 079 ecu which is fitted in the us m6 cars with a s38 engine. I know these engines run a cat and an o2 sensor but it is near enough the same engine so would the tunes work?

Hi,

The tunes might work, but I would not advise running them unless you truly want to experiment and accept any consequences that may come about from doing so.

The S38 engine is a total DOG compared to the M88. We are lacking on M88 tunes simply because of demand and number of cars here. What do you need help with? We can help you with the tune.
