e36 coupe drag / street build ( vortech with NOS )
« on: April 08, 2014, 02:38:35 PM »

Hi all new here, hoping to get some great ideas on tunning and set up ect, and hopefully get brodi and the team to tune this bad girl once completed.

Ok so my project was as follows
Black on black e36 325i coupe manual 180, 000 kms on original motor
-vortech supercharger v2 si custom plate
-war chip, 3.5 maf, 30lbs injectors
-lighten flywheel 6 puk ceramic clutch
-custom 3" by 3mm single piece driveshaft
-rear diff and cradle fully aluminum bushed
-driect port nitous injection ( 6 sportsman foggers) two 10lbs bottles
-in cab wideband afr
-BFG comp t/a drag radials

Ok so all of this was great until number 6 piston wanted out.
12.9 @ 112  mph
So now it's time for that forged internal big hp engine,
so engine is out, block is ok, now I have some parts ready for this and some still need to come this is the plan,

-m50b25 block
-m50b25 head new valves, double valve springs
-cometic or copper head gasket
-m54b30 crankshaft
-135 mm eagle rods
-86 mm custom low comp pistons
-m54b30 inlet and std exhaust cam
-custom extractors and exhaust
-front mount intercooler, maxiflow bypass
- bigger injectors cc? Tba
Ok so I already have the block, cams, crank and head
The rest and open as im trying to find to best parts to use and just wanted to find out what others have used
I have some in mind
Je pistons customs
Supertech valves and springs
Eagle rods
Acl race series bearings
Copper head gasket
Injector size 60lbs big enough?

Anyway hopefully once its all built I can get miller performance to help with the tuning
If you have any thoughts or experiences with some of these parts let me know I'll get some pictures up as I go
