Is this normal? Fuel map 50lb inj
« on: April 14, 2014, 09:51:25 AM »

Hi
I´m running this setup:

525cc injektors, 50 lb
535 afm
2.8L stroker
Schwitzer s200 54/56mm
Progressive FRP 1.1:4
pressure at no vacum is 2.5bar
E85
I´ve driven the car for 2 days now, testing and i have made a tune for 0.5 bar boost.(low pressure)

In the P/t fuel map most of the cells are around 80-90units and down to the right at higher rpms it goes to  ~100-110units.

In my WOT map  at 800rpm - 2000rpm it´s around 80-90 and it goes up to 116 at 6000rpm.

I think these is low numbers?

The car goes very rich at full throttle, 10.6 arf  and the same at 50% throttle

Movie:https://www.dropbox.com/s/f8khi7hk0upgatv/2014-04-14%2011.31.34.mp4

Is these low numbers normal??

I was testing lowering the whole WOT map by 10 units but i didn´t see so much changes..

*Last year i had my old 2.5L engine with Orginal chip in it, same fuelsetup slightly smaller turbo and it ran great
at 0.5bar Boost. and 2.5bar fuel pressure, 13.8 afr *
If i write the "173 stock file" in to the chip now, car goes shit, extremly rich!

A little confused, hope u guys understand me. I´m swedish ;)

What base tune have you started with? Because you are running such large injectors you will have a difficult time with the base tunes you have available. We do not have a base tune set up for the 535 air flow meter and 50# injectors. If we did, you would not have to take away so much fuel.

The tune i started with came from Fekzen, - unique chip tuning.  He's the Swedish war chip reseller.

Spoke with him as well and he thought it was something else that made it go rich.
Sense the car ran great with the same setup last year with the stock ecu.?

Is the war chip changing the duty cycle of the injectors?

I'm down to 2bar fuel pressure now and then I had afr 11.2 with 0.5bar of boost.

So I guess it's just to lowering the p/the fuel map even more and also the Wot map.

Can I email my map to you guys when I'm done tuning so you can have a look at it and maybe share it in the cache download selection?

Hi again!
It seems like the chip dosen't React to that I download to it. Big changes in fuel maps= no change (o2 off).
Change rev limit to 3000rpm in all 4 maps=6500 rpm limit. If I read from the chip to software, the changes I'we made is there, but it still revs to 6500 fore example.

If any one have any ideas I very happy. 1month to my first Drifting competition!

Glad you got it figured out!

Please post what changes you made to the base map which you received from the reseller.
