Windows 8 war chip platform.
« on: August 25, 2013, 06:26:34 PM »

Well one of my friends has the chip and I was experimenting it windows XP running on windows 8 and it works like a clock. And war chip software works fine so I guess you can run it anywhere.
And wanted to let people know don't try to instal the old 7.17 java without uninstalling the new one first that 7.25 of your computer first  and for 100% not having any problem restart the computer every time you install or uninstall software.

Will be testing it on raspberry Pi and run vertual window XP on it as you can install rbPi in a car. As in size of a cigaret pack.
Thanks
Alex

my linux box (fedora) can detect it, see it, but cannot open its program (since its .bat)
and
my work machine (win8x64) doesn't detect it at all.  (yes, i am a system admin both on the machine and the domain)

So you are running VB with XP? And yours works fine? I cannot get it to work. Any ideas?
