Increased compression ratio and aggressive cam.
« on: May 13, 2014, 10:47:11 PM »

I just installed CP pistons (10.25:1 CR) and Schrick cam 284/272 into my M20.  Currently running on WAR chip (with High perfomance (19lb) setting as default) and MAF conversion.  Running nice but want some more.  What is the adjustment(s) needed in WAR programme for the increased compression ratio and aggressive cam?

You really need at the very minimum a wideband air fuel ratio gauge. Also, what octane fuel are you using? Knowing your air fuel ratio will allow you to dial in the power more precisely where fuel can make a difference. For the timing, the only true way to know is on the dyno. But if it is not pinging, using our normal MAF timing curve will be safe and reliable for now.
