Check engine light and unstable idle
« on: March 21, 2015, 01:33:17 PM »

Hi all. I'm running a maf with war chip and am having some issues. It's on a 173 DME and I'm running the 14 lb with higher idle tune. I have a check engine light with code 1215 for the afm, and when I rev the engine the idle will drop below 500 and almost stall the car before returning back to 720. Sometimes the car will stall when the idle drops but it will start back up just fine.

I followed the troubleshooting guide and got 12 volts between pins 3 and 4, but only .4 volts between 2 and 4, with no change when the car idles. I removed the maf and cleaned the connections and I now get the correct voltage numbers in the guide, but still no change in the issue I'm having.

Any other help us much appreciated!

Have you had a chance to do what we talked about in email? One thing I forgot to ask, is the the 2.7" or 3" housing?
