O2 Sensor On/Off, Wideband O2, & Data Logger ?s
« on: November 06, 2013, 09:07:39 AM »

While I was reading I saw that you are supposed to tune the Miller War Chip with the O2 sensor off, however when I turn it back on I am getting very lean P/T Fuel.  I noticed that my O2 sensor is only reading off of one bank from the headers.  Should I relocate or replace the O2 sensor or just leave it off completely?

Is there a way to wire in the War Chip to read off of the Wideband O2?

What is a recommended data logger to use?

Thanks!

Tell us a bit about your setup so I can give you some better insight.

The O2 sensor simply tries to target 14.7:1 and the way the narrowband works is it simply oscillates back and forth past 14.7. So Rich, Lean, Rich, Lean, like that with 14.7:1 being in the middle of that swing.

The stock ECU cannot understand a wideband signal. Leaving the O2 sensor in one bank is just fine.

I'm running a stock s50 with a vortech v3 and 10-11 psi and no intercooler.

Is it okay to leave the o2 sensor off?

How does tuning for this setup work? since i'm getting boost all the time does that mean I need to run rich all the time?
